Psalm 144:12

Psalm 144:12 is a verse that succinctly captures our desire for our students at CHBC. We desire that God would make our sons to be strong, spiritually mature men of God, even in their youth. As grown up trees provide protection from the elements and fruit for provision, we want our sons to fulfill their biblical calling to be men who protect and provide.
We also desire that God would fashion our daughters into the image of biblical womanhood - that like pillars, they would fulfill their God-given calling to be supports of strength and beauty.
Christ-Centered Discipleship – Our Method
Colossians 2:6-7 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.
Our only hope for seeing students become mature Christian men and women is Christ alone. We will exhort students to receive Christ, to walk in Christ, and to develop an established faith in Christ. Our plants must be rooted in Christ. Our pillars must be built up in Christ. Therefore, our instruction to students must be Christ-centered and flow from hearts that have been flooded with God's grace and are overflowing with gratitude.
The Student Ministry meets in Solomon’s Porch. Join us Sunday mornings at 9am for Sunday School and Wednesday evenings at 6pm for PORCH Time.
