Lahoma is a graduate of Moore High School & holds a Bachelors and a Masters of Music Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She taught music in public schools for 29 years and is a longtime member of Capitol Hill Baptist Church. She has taught at the academy since 2006. Lahoma has been married to Jim for 32 years and has two sons, Matt and Joe. Lahoma also serves as the Director of the South Metro Fine Arts Academy.-

Tuesdy Dadulo - Art - Tuesdy was raised in Louisiana and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio art from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2005. She has been involved with art since age 8 and realized her love of teaching through the children’s ministry program at her church. This is her fourth semester at the South Metro Fine Arts Academy. Tuesdy lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, John Mark and daugther Ellie.
Susan Rosser - Piano, Voice, Gutiar - Susan Rosser is originally from Edmond, Oklahoma. She spent her high school years in Texas, and graduated from Coppell High School in 2002. While in high school, Susan developed a deep love of music, and became a member of the Texas All-State Choir, as well as obtaining many honors as a soprano at Texas State Solo and Ensemble contests. Susan attended the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree of Musical Arts in 2006, with her primary emphasis in vocal performance. She currently enjoys leading weekly worship music in Oklahoma City, and is on the worship team at her church as well. In 2010, Susan became employed at SMFAA, where she has taught voice, piano, and guitar lessons. Susan met her husband, Matt Rosser, while in college, and they were married in May of 2008. They attend Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City, OK.
Donna Pearson - Piano - Donna was raised in
Tyler Martin - Drums - is a music education student in the University of Oklahoma Percussion Studio who has been privately instructing students for four years. He graduated from Westmoore Highschool after having spent four years involved in the high school marching band, Oklahoma Youth Orchestra, Harrison Academy Symphonic Winds, and numerous honor musical ensembles. Since beginning university education he has marched in the Pride of Oklahoma for two years, performed with the OU Orchestra, OU Percussion Ensemble, New Horizons Jazz ensemble, and taught multiple high school and junior high school musical ensembles.
Cory Moon - Guitar - holds a bachelor of arts in guitar performance with advanced studies in improvisation and contemporary music theory, and has vast experience in performing . In addition to his education, he also has been teaching guitar for 6 years. He and his wife have 2 children and she is employed with the Baptist Homes for Children.
Karyne Urquhart - Piano -Violin - Karyne grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and her husband grew up in Alness, Scotland. They met at Bryan College, Dayton, TN, where she earned her degree in Piano Pedagogy. She has taught Kindermusik, directed children's choirs, and taught piano and violin. She has also sung the alto solo parts for the Handel's Messiah and Vivaldi's Gloria. Karyne's husband and she moved to OKC almost 5 years ago so he could become the Executive Director of the EarlywinePark YMCA. Karyne obtained her certification to teach music in elementary schools and next year will be the beginning of her fourth year teaching at Briarwood Elementary. Paul and Karyne have two boys, Kestor and Brody. The boys are entering seventh and fifth grade this year.
Hannah Owen- Art - Hannah was born and raised in the Oklahoma City area, where she graduated from Christian Heritage Academy in 2009. Since then, she has been attending Heartland Baptist Bible College to earn her teaching degree. She plans to graduate this May and someday knows that God will lead her to serve on the foreign mission field. She really enjoys teaching and also has had her own photography business for the past few years. Both her love for art and for teaching are passed down to her from her parents who have experienced backgrounds in each.
