Ø Hobbies or interests: reading, watching children's sporting events, gardening
Ø Favorite Book of the Bible: Proverbs, Hebrews, and Ephesians
Ø Favorite Bible Character: Daniel, Esther
Ø Favorite Bible Verse: It is hard to pick one favorite. Right now the Lord keeps bringing me back to Acts 2:43. Verse 42 talks about how the believers devoted themselves to the apostles, teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer. The outcome of that was that everyone was filled with awe at what God was doing. It is my prayer that I never forget to be in awe of the relationship that I have with the Lord and what He is doing in my life and the life of the church.
Ø Favorite Books: I love to read so picking a favorite is hard. I love mysteries and anything by Karen Kingsbury. I also love to read anything to do with ministry to children and of course the Bible. Right now I am reading Humility by CJ Mahaney and Teaching Children Diligently by Louis Priolo
Ø Favorite Vacation spot: Beach or anywhere with Big Roller coasters!
Ø Favorite Meal: Fried Shrimp, anything chocolate!
Ø Favorite Ice Cream: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Ø If the ministry staff ran a 100 yard dash, who would win and why?: I would like to say me because I am competetive & don't like to lose, but I will have to say probably Pastor Shane! Although if I had a big plate of browniesor if I asked any of the three pastors a deep theological question, I would be finished with the race before any of them even started! J
Ø What kind of car do you think best represents the other ministry staff and why?: I am having a hard time answering this question because I don't pay attention to cars....I drive a mini van! But I will give it a shot! For Pastor Scott- a Mustang....their ad says the car that never got old just got new! He may be the oldest member of the staff, but he always has new and creative ideas! For Pastor Shane I would have to say the "Big shuttle" because he is always taking numerous youth to various places! For Pastor Mark, I agree with Pastor Shane who said a Lexus because their ads say pursuit of perfection. Pastor Mark doesn't ask us to be perfect, but he does challenge us to be set apart.
