Celebrate Sunday School

Every year we mark the start of another year of CHBC Sunday School with our Celebrate Sunday School Sunday. On this morning, there is food and drink in the hallways as you enter at 9 AM. Children and Students start in the class that matches their new grade in school, and guests are encouraged to find a place to join a small group Bible study. This is an exciting day as it marks the beginning of a new year of small group Bible study involvement. Sunday School is the main way CHBC helps people engage with the Bible, with God, and with others. The theme of our upcoming Sunday School Year is Connect: to God, the Bible, and One Another.

7th Grade Promotion Lunch

For students who will be entering 7th grade this fall, as well as their parents, and siblings. This lunch will be a time to learn about 7th grade Sunday School, Student Ministry Wednesday Night Worship, and all the other ministries and activities that are part of CHBC Students. You will receive an invitation via phone and email through which you can RSVP.

Equip Classes

CHBC exists to glorify God by equipping believers, exalting Christ, and extending the gospel. Equipping is another way to say we want to take seriously the mandate to make disciples. Discipleship is a process of thinking and acting like Jesus more every day. That means we need to think about how the Bible addresses our lives in different seasons and different circumstances.

Equip Classes have been our way of addressing life stage or life issue needs that Christians are facing each and every day. This year, our equip classes will be the last three Sunday nights of July and the first three Sunday nights of August. All of the classes will begin at 5 PM. Class titles, teachers, dates, and locations will be available on signage, on the website, and on social media. Or you can save an image of this chart on your phone, tablet, or computer for reference. Join an equip classes by simply attending.

Living Faith was founded with a deep passion for helping men overcome their past mistakes and addictions. Living Faith extends forgiveness, grace, and hope to men in need. The purpose of Living Faith is to see transformation in the lives of men who have been incarcerated by providing comprehensive support and fostering a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They equip formerly incarcerated men with the practical skills, spiritual guidance, and supportive community needed to reintegrate into society successfully so they may begin to live fulfilling and productive lives. We have been coming alongside Living Faith Ministries by providing a meal once every other month for their Tuesday night worship services. We provide the food, the worship music, and the preaching for the evening.
