Explore CHBC
How do I join CHBC? What is church membership? What is the mission and vision of CHBC? The membership process of CHBC begins by you attending one of our quarterly series of classes called Explore CHBC. These classes, taught by Mark DeMoss, the pastor for preaching and vision, occur four times every year. The course lasts three consecutive weeks and will allow you to get to know the history, mission, vision, and beliefs of CHBC. No registration is necessary just attend session one. Our next series of classes begins August 3 at 5 PM.

Third Thursday Adult Bible Study
Third Thursday in October will not be on the third Thursday, but on Oct. 23. We are taking a trip to the former location of Capitol Hill Baptist Church. The Capitol Hill district has undergone some amazing renovations to embrace the Hispanic culture that is so much a part of that area of OKC. The building which we built in our past is a centerpiece to a new plaza Calle Dos Cinco (25th Street). We will be taking a tour of the former building and then having lunch together nearby. Meet at CHBC at 9:30 AM to get a ride or meet us at the old church at 10 AM. There will be walking and stairs to navigate, so please be aware of that before attending.
Greet and Treat
Greet and Treat is an annual outreach to our neighborhoods on the night of Halloween. Your home becomes a place of hope and love on a night when children are out knocking on doors. The church will provide you with bags that include an invitation to church, a gospel tract, and a treat. You provide a home where children are greeted with kindness. You can pass out the bags from your door, or put a game on your front driveway that encourages people to stop and linger for a moment. Gather a few friends from church, turn on your porch light, and be ready to Greet and Treat on Oct. 31. Greet and Treat Bags will be ready for pick up on Oct. 26.
