Corporate Worship

Corporate Worship

 We look forward to gathering weekly as a local body of believers each Sunday morning at 10:15 AM. Our services consist of several different worship elements. We will sing biblically based, Christ-centered songs, hear dynamic expositional preaching of the Word, read aloud and memorize scripture as a congregation, give tithes and offerings with joyful hearts to the Lord, pray prayers of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication, and observe the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We hope our services first and foremost glorify God and that they are also edifying and sanctifying for our body to live Gospel-minded lives in a dark world.

CONGREGATIONAL SINGING

Each Sunday you will find us singing songs that are rich in doctrine and played with excellence. We sing hymns that have been passed down us by faithful Christians before us, as well as songs that have been recently written. Because we are a diverse congregation, we lovingly put aside personal preferences for a style of worship that a range of people can enjoy.

Expository Preaching

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word without any mixture of error. We preach through books of the Bible so that we can understand all that God has said to us in context. We strive to make the main point of the Bible passage the main point of our sermons and we always point to Jesus.

Scripture Reading

In 1 Timothy 4:13, the apostle Paul instructed local churches to "give attention to the public reading of Scripture." Each week the Scripture text for the sermon will be read aloud. The congregation will also recite the Scripture memory verse of the month together as an act of worship and as an aid to memorization.

Tithes & Offerings

During the service our members have an opportunity to give financially to support the mission and ministries of the church. Guests should not feel obligated to give. Find out more about these offerings at our Missions page.

Baptism

Baptism happens after someone is born again as they publicly profess their faith in Christ alone for salvation from sin. It symbolizes their dying to sin and rising to new life in Christ. It is a visual depiction of the gospel for all to see!

The Lord's Supper

The Lord's Supper commemorates the broken body of Jesus and His shed blood for our sins. We invite you to participate with us if you have been born again and have received believer's baptism by immersion. We observe Baptism and the Lord's Supper as a church-wide celebration, with our English and Spanish services meeting together as one family.

using your gifts to serve

Are you a gifted musician, vocalist, or audio-visual technician? We are always looking for people to serve in the choir, the praise team, the worship band, the orchestra, and the sound booth.
